DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 003 Mist

DND 003 Mist is a parchment white from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

1 x DND 003 Mist nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 003 Mist, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

Who it suits

French manicures: white is the hardest shade to lay down evenly, so keep coats thin and cap the free edge.

Clean-girl sets, paired with a French tip over a sheer pink.

Clients who ask for parchment white by name or by number 003.

Which option to choose

DND”s standard gel line contains HEMA, per its safety data sheet. DND 003 Mist belongs to the separate HEMA & TPO Free line, so it is the DND option for clients who react to regular gel. Any client with a known allergy should still patch test.

Removal

File through the top coat, then soak in acetone for about 10 to 15 minutes and ease the softened gel off with a pusher. Skip the drill on the natural nail and finish with cuticle oil.
