DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 002 Icing

DND 002 Icing is a sheer ivory from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

What you get

1 x DND 002 Icing gel polish, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), cured under an LED or UV lamp

1 x DND 002 Icing nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

Why techs stock it

TPO free: TPO is the photoinitiator the EU removed from cosmetics in 2025; this formula does not use it.

Rated for 21 days: DND lists up to 21 days of chip-free wear with proper prep.

Does not shrink: DND lists the HEMA & TPO Free formula as non-shrinking and chip-free.

Natural-nail look: the sheer finish lets some of the nail show through, good for clean-girl sets.

Specifications

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 002 Icing, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

Clients who ask for sheer ivory by name or by number 002.

Which option to choose

DND”s standard gel line contains HEMA, per its safety data sheet. DND 002 Icing belongs to the separate HEMA & TPO Free line, so it is the DND option for clients who react to regular gel. Any client with a known allergy should still patch test.

Removal

File through the top coat, then soak in acetone for about 10 to 15 minutes and ease the softened gel off with a pusher. Skip the drill on the natural nail and finish with cuticle oil.
