DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 014 Sand

DND 014 Sand is a grey-beige from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

In DND”s words: A sheer greige with a buildable finish like a sandcastle constructed under the shade of an umbrella.

What you get

1 x DND 014 Sand gel polish, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), cured under an LED or UV lamp

1 x DND 014 Sand nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

Why techs stock it

TPO free: TPO is the photoinitiator the EU removed from cosmetics in 2025; this formula does not use it.

Rated for 21 days: DND lists up to 21 days of chip-free wear with proper prep.

Does not shrink: DND lists the HEMA & TPO Free formula as non-shrinking and chip-free.

Natural-nail look: the sheer finish lets some of the nail show through, good for clean-girl sets.

Specifications

How to apply the gel

Prep: shape, cuticle work, light buff, dehydrator.

Base: thin base gel from any DND line, cured.

Colour: DND 014 Sand in two thin coats, capping the edge, 45 seconds each.

Top: no-wipe top gel, cured, no cleanse.

Who it suits

Minimal sets: grey is a neutral that works year round and does not fight an outfit.

Short nails, paired with a matte top coat.

Clients who ask for grey-beige by name or by number 014.

Which option to choose

DND”s standard gel line contains HEMA, per its safety data sheet. DND 014 Sand belongs to the separate HEMA & TPO Free line, so it is the DND option for clients who react to regular gel. Any client with a known allergy should still patch test.

Removal

File through the top coat, then soak in acetone for about 10 to 15 minutes and ease the softened gel off with a pusher. Skip the drill on the natural nail and finish with cuticle oil.
