DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 248 Grasshopper

DND 248 Grasshopper is a bright lime from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

1 x DND 248 Grasshopper gel polish, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), cured under an LED or UV lamp

1 x DND 248 Grasshopper nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

TPO free: TPO is the photoinitiator the EU removed from cosmetics in 2025; this formula does not use it.

How to apply the gel

Start with a clean plate: no oil, no shine.

Base gel: DND #500, DC #800 or DIVA #100, cured 30 seconds.

Two thin coats: DND 248 Grasshopper, 45 seconds under LED per coat; thin layers cure evenly.

Seal: no-wipe top gel, 45 seconds, then cuticle oil.

Who it suits

Fall and winter sets: green swings cool or warm with the base, so check it against the client”s skin.

Editorial nail art, paired with a gold accent nail.

Which option to choose

If a client has reacted to gel before, DND 248 Grasshopper is the DND duo to trial, since the line leaves out HEMA and TPO. The base and top gels are separate products, so check their labels too.

Storing the bottles

Keep gel bottles closed and away from the lamp and from windows, since stray UV can thicken the gel in the neck. Wipe the neck before capping so the lid does not stick.
