DND 239 Coconut Colada is a pure white from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 239 Coconut Colada, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

French manicures: white is the hardest shade to lay down evenly, so keep coats thin and cap the free edge.

Which option to choose

If a client has reacted to gel before, DND 239 Coconut Colada is the DND duo to trial, since the line leaves out HEMA and TPO. The base and top gels are separate products, so check their labels too.

Storing the bottles

Keep gel bottles closed and away from the lamp and from windows, since stray UV can thicken the gel in the neck. Wipe the neck before capping so the lid does not stick.
