DND 238 Hello Darkness is a jet black from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

1 x DND 238 Hello Darkness nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

How to apply the gel

Prep: shape, cuticle work, light buff, dehydrator.

Base: thin base gel from any DND line, cured.

Colour: DND 238 Hello Darkness in two thin coats, capping the edge, 45 seconds each.

Top: no-wipe top gel, cured, no cleanse.

Which option to choose

If a client has reacted to gel before, DND 238 Hello Darkness is the DND duo to trial, since the line leaves out HEMA and TPO. The base and top gels are separate products, so check their labels too.

Removal

File through the top coat, then soak in acetone for about 10 to 15 minutes and ease the softened gel off with a pusher. Skip the drill on the natural nail and finish with cuticle oil.
