DND 224 Flirt Alert is a shimmer hot pink from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 224 Flirt Alert, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

Which option to choose

If a client has reacted to gel before, DND 224 Flirt Alert is the DND duo to trial, since the line leaves out HEMA and TPO. The base and top gels are separate products, so check their labels too.

Removal

File through the top coat, then soak in acetone for about 10 to 15 minutes and ease the softened gel off with a pusher. Skip the drill on the natural nail and finish with cuticle oil.
