DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 076 Lemon Glow

DND 076 Lemon Glow is a lemon yellow from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

1 x DND 076 Lemon Glow gel polish, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), cured under an LED or UV lamp

1 x DND 076 Lemon Glow nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 076 Lemon Glow, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

Who it suits

Spring sets: yellow pigment is naturally sheer, so plan on a third thin coat or a white base.

Pastel nail art, paired with a white base coat underneath.

Which option to choose

DND”s standard gel line contains HEMA, per its safety data sheet. DND 076 Lemon Glow belongs to the separate HEMA & TPO Free line, so it is the DND option for clients who react to regular gel. Any client with a known allergy should still patch test.

Lamp check

An LED lamp cures each thin colour coat in well under a minute; a UV lamp takes about 2 minutes. If the surface stays soft, the coat was too thick or the lamp is getting old.
