DND HEMA & TPO Free Gel Duo 020 Melting

DND 020 Melting is a sheer pink from DND”s HEMA & TPO Free line. You get the gel polish and its matching lacquer, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour.

In DND”s words: Don”t let it drip, keep it coolin” off with this milky peachy pink, a buildable sheer to blur the line between your natural nails and a sweetheart finish.

What you get

1 x DND 020 Melting gel polish, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), cured under an LED or UV lamp

1 x DND 020 Melting nail lacquer, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL), air-dries

Why techs stock it

TPO free: TPO is the photoinitiator the EU removed from cosmetics in 2025; this formula does not use it.

Rated for 21 days: DND lists up to 21 days of chip-free wear with proper prep.

Does not shrink: DND lists the HEMA & TPO Free formula as non-shrinking and chip-free.

Natural-nail look: the sheer finish lets some of the nail show through, good for clean-girl sets.

How to apply the gel

Prep: clean the nail, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate.

Base: a thin layer of any DND, DC or DIVA base gel, cured 30 seconds under LED.

Colour: two thin coats of DND 020 Melting, each cured 45 seconds under LED, edge capped.

Top: a DND, DC or DIVA no-wipe top gel, cured 45 seconds.

Bridal and bridesmaid bookings: pink sits close to most natural nail beds, so regrowth shows slowly.

Which option to choose

DND”s standard gel line contains HEMA, per its safety data sheet. DND 020 Melting belongs to the separate HEMA & TPO Free line, so it is the DND option for clients who react to regular gel. Any client with a known allergy should still patch test.

Storing the bottles

Keep gel bottles closed and away from the lamp and from windows, since stray UV can thicken the gel in the neck. Wipe the neck before capping so the lid does not stick.
